Nicky has been singing and performing for as long as she can remember. Originally from Yorkshire, England, she grew up singing big-voiced ballads by Whitney Houston and Celine Dion in a small town in Eastern Scotland. It was CMT's Shania Twain and Faith Hill that truly caught her attention, and after relocating to Canada to be closer to family, she pursued her musical passion with heart and hustle.

After fronting her own cover band for several years, Nicky released her first single "I Can't Stay" in 2015 with Edmonton’s Scott Greene at Power Sound Studios. She followed that up after winning Flock Audio’s Recording Contest in 2017, and has performed at the Giovanni Music Songwriter Series alongside local icons like Clayton Bellamy and Trinity Bradshaw. Nicky was also the winner of Global Country Star Search in 2015 and received the 2016 Entertainer of the Year & Songwriter of the Year awards for New Country at the North American Country Music International Awards in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

Though she’s drawn comparisons to powerhouse vocalists like Carrie Underwood and Natalie Maines, Nicky Pearson brings a voice, sound, and energy all her own. Her original material blends infectious melodies with heartfelt lyrics inspired by both contemporary country and rock 'n' roll. Whether performing with a high-energy full band or captivating an audience solo with her guitar, her passion shines through.

In 2014, Nicky organized one of her most heartfelt projects—Rocking For Belle, a fundraiser for her niece Isabelle, who lives with severe Cerebral Palsy. The event raised $11,000 to help fund a wheelchair-accessible van for her sister, then a single mom. The song she wrote for Belle was also featured on 102.3 Now Radio.

Her most recent and profound challenge has been a health crisis that led to sudden paralysis and hospitalization, ultimately resulting in a diagnosis of Myasthenia Gravis. Through strength and resilience, Nicky has redirected her focus toward building a flexible, home-based marketing business that supports her ongoing recovery. This new chapter allows her to keep creating, performing, and empowering fellow creatives—all while staying present for her two busy hockey kids. Today, she helps other moms and business owners show up confidently online through content marketing and Instagram Reels coaching.
