Meet Nicky Pearson

Nicky is a powerhouse vocalist, small business owner and proud hockey mom whose journey has been anything but ordinary.

Originally from Yorkshire, England—with chapters in Scotland, the Middle East,U.S. and Newfoundland—she’s called Edmonton home for the past 20 years.  Growing up singing along to Shania Twain and Martina McBride on CMT, Nicky went on to release music, front 80s and country-rock bands, and earned awards for both her vocals and songwriting abilities.

In 2021, a sudden Myasthenia Gravis crisis left her temporarily paralyzed and in a wheelchair. The years that followed became a powerful mix of physical recovery, mental resilience, and rediscovering confidence—while raising her family and cheering from the hockey stands. Today, she’s found a way to blend her deep love for music with her passion for empowering others. Through her flexible, home-based business, she helps fellow moms and entrepreneurs show up confidently online, while still finding joy in sharing her music locally.

Whether she’s performing, singing the Canadian National Anthem, coaching clients on Instagram, or navigating life as a hockey mom—Nicky shows up with heart, grit, and a message that it’s never too late to return to what you love.

"At first glance, you may think quiet and sweet when you see Nicky, but man her voice packs a punch when she's belting out tunes on stage! We were definitely impressed by her ability to capture everyone's attention with her powerful vocals and engaging personality...she has no trouble bringing her own super cool style to the mix. - Canada's Music

"Her pitch was on-point....her comfort onstage comes to show that she was born to do this, carrying out her dream, one song after another." -Jerad Bowes XM105FM

"I have had a chance to hear and see Nicky live and I found she definitely new how to use the stage and get the audience involved with her. To me that is what being an entertainer is about, "Showmanship." Without it you are boring and Nicky is definitely not boring. She has a beautiful tone and definitely knows how to tell the story. If you get a chance to see and hear her you will understand what I mean." - Jack Cooper, Cooper Studios/Pump Records
